I am Cor van der Weele. My training was in biology and philosophy, and I wrote my thesis in the philosophy of biology, in 1995 (Images of Development; Environmental Causes in Ontogeny, SUNY press 1999). I have been working in various places and on various subjects since that time. My present research focuses on allocation of attention as a moral issue (in science, philosophy and art). It is subsidized by the Center for Society and Genomics, and conducted at Wageningen University.
I hope that your project is more than subsidized by the CSG, but is part of its research programme. The projects are what makes the centre!
